Today is the release of the Nintendo Switch. HORAY!!!
To celebrate I’m going to talk about Nintendo’s upcoming Mario Kart title: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!!!

Love the cover but where Luigi, Nintendo? ),,;
Before I start, please leave a comment giving your opinion on what you think of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Anyway, here’s my opinion.
I’m pretty disappointed with this game: it’s almost an EXACT replica of the latest Mario Kart title: Mario Kart 8. On one hand Mario Kart 8 was a great game so, considering that Nintendo did add some new content, it makes it better. They improved battle modes, giving us ACTUAL battle maps, and Bob-omb Blast, from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, returned as a battle mode. On the other hand, I think Nintendo tried too hard on battle mode, despite the fact we didn’t get classics like Shine Thief from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Shine Runners from Mario Kart DS and Coin Runners from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. We only got two “new” items, the Feather from Super Mario Kart and the Boo first seen in Mario Kart 64 and last seen in Mario Kart DS, and four new characters (only 1 of which is new), King Boo (last seen in Mario Kart Wii), Dry Bones (last seen in Mario Kart Wii), Bowser Jr. (last seen in Mario Kart Wii) and, the only new racer, Inkling Boy/Girl. The new character line-up isn’t too bad, but still not enough. There is also not enough battle courses. Mario Kart Wii had 10 battle courses and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7 had 6. And yet Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has only 4. Worst of all (apart from the fact Luigi isn’t on the cover and, of EVERY character, LINK, a DLC CHARACTER, made it on it), THERE IS NO NEW TRACKS!! Not even new DLC tracks. This is really annoying since these race tracks are the core feature of Mario Kart titles. So overall I think this game could sell especially with the added content but people will probably be bored of it quicker than they would of Super Mario Kart in 1992!
And they’re my thoughts. Again please leave a comment on your opinion of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Thanks for reading and good luck Nintendo Switch (let’s hope it doesn’t fail as badly as the Wii U did)!!!
